Hello again been a while. Just thought I would let you know that I am going to try SOCKS. I don’t know why I have delayed this. Yummm. maybe because they are hard. Anyway these are the socks I’m going to attemp.

boxing gloves of my little nephew Ryrie. I still have to stitch the lable
on and the laces. Don’t know how I’m going to do that, but I am sure
I will figure it out. But if anyone can help me, that would be fab.

Hi everyone,
Teaching myself how to CABLE STITCH, interesting progress.
On another note… I recently brought wool from Bendigo Mills. OMG, what fab wool. 100% pure wool, and 100% Australian. Both good qualities in my book. So I am going to buy some more. I’m thinking more red, but then I may get some more colours, bright red, lipstick red, ruby red. haha. Maybe baby blue, baby green & white. There seems to be a baby boom around me at the moment. So I better get knitting booties, blankets etc.

Rose coloured glasses.

I have been trying to read my knitting patterns, with no glasses. It hasn’t been going well. So I remembered to wear my red glasses, what a difference. But being a beginner I still have trouble working out patterns. Anyway…
You may have seen me wearing my red glasses around. When people ask “what are they for?” I would reply they are for fashion, but really they are for reading. Don’t be afraid, it took me 24 years to discover that words on the page aren’t meant to jump around. And when people look at me funny, I just take it as a complement that I have cool glasses and is spreading the word that not everyone is perfect.

Oh Baby..
Hello,
Went to a baby shower for my beautiful friend Mrs. W, due in 6 weeks. Seeing all the baby clothes, really did make me clucky. But sorry to say blogger readers, no not on the cards yet. 
Anyway moving on. While at the baby shower I noticed not much hand knitted stuff, but then soon realised people (I say people, not to generalize) don’t have enough time to knit booties, jumpers, blankets etc.
So with this in mind I have another idea for my next project. Brainstorming with my gorgeous friend Mrs. B come up with a new twist on baby booties and mittens.
p.s. If anyone uses this idea to make for a little bubba, ok. But if anyone uses this idea and makes money, feel the guilt run through you, that it wasn’t your original idea.
I wonder who will be the first to get these booties.
